This is such a beautiful novel that I recommend to everyone. Part bildungsroman, part magical folklore, part social critique, & part family saga, it’s got the beating heart of a living, breathing woman & the wisdom & tenderness to make it mean something.
Wonder Pens @ College & Euclid. Wandered in here on a procrastinatory (not a word?) whim this afternoon. Sometimes, just browsing through pretty rows of things that I like is nice.
This trilogy is terrifying & totally anxiety-inducing. It take over your dreams & your days & your will to do anything else but read the damn thing. Don’t be fooled by the bright covers. This is horror at its finest & I’d stop reading it right now if I didn’t need to know so badly how it all ends.
